I had to jump my semi truck it takes a lot of power to jump these trucks. I bought 2 of these machines. As soon as I put it on they gave me instant power and I was able to jump start my truck. Would recommend to everyone I know.
Has to be one of the best purchases I have made. I have a diesel truck and don't drive everyday. I have used it 4 times and it kicks right over. Easy to use, won't work if leads are reversed and very easy to use.
Received this about a month ago. Topped off the charge after it arrived then yesterday went out to my 1982 Mercedes 300SD to find the battery dead. Hooked up the device and car started right up. This is a 5 cylinder Diesel engine. No easy task to get that beast to crank.
We use this for overlanding and it's been very helpful. We've jumped a 7.3l diesel with it and also used it to run/operate some small appliances, such as a water pump for showers while camping.
I would recommend this product for camping, road trips, and/or to jump vehicles safely.
A lot of newer cars cannot/should not be jumped via two cars and jumper cables like back in the day; the variations of input/output could seriously damage the electronics. It's recommended to use a jump starter instead plus it's very compact/convenient/easy to use.
The jump starter was super easy to use - just hook it up and turn the key. Used it on a friends car that had very little charge. We hooked it up and the vehicle started right up like a new battery was installed. Worked great!
